A culture of continuous improvement.
What exactly is a ‘safety culture’? At KAEFER, we’re guided by the principle of continuous improvement. And we apply that to fostering an inclusive safety culture. This means constantly looking for ways to minimise risks and optimise processes. It means involving every single person in our organisation in making safety a priority – from the top down and bottom up.
In 2016, KAEFER devised a customised safety culture training programme, which is now being rolled out globally. We take a practical and individual approach, since safety begins with people. And people also act as role models, which is why our management is trained to ‘buy-in’ to the concept personally and to foster an open-error management culture. Until now, more than 2,100 people from 20 countries have participated in the training. And we’re looking forward to many more.
